Character Building Notes ( house rules )
The following are free things that everyone gets, a net +20 value for your character.  

The Youth Disadvantage       -10pnts
Whatever your true background, you are considered a teenager by society. There are things you can not legally do and others that are simply against social norms. You have a -2 reaction from all adults when you are being serious. “You’re just a kid.”  Also your parents or legal guardian have certain rights over you. Your family may be rich but it’s not your money –yet. No wealth level above comfortable is allowed.

The Friends Advantage         10pnts
Almost everyone has a few friends, 2 to 4; these points represent your long time pals. Use the Contacts rules P44, with effective skill 12 and frequency of appearance ‘quite often’. In many ways they act like Allies, however their point values would make them Dependents. They are average teenagers not super heroes.

These represent the skills that almost everyone learns as they grow up.

Not what you learn to drive as an everyman skill.

These represent what most people learn by the time they have finished middle school.
One point in each is free, but a good student should have two points in most of these.

                                   School Uniforms will be required - this is just an example.
