Near the School
North of the school, towards
Komyoike commuter rail station, is a small shopping district. It is about a 15 minute walk from the main
entrance to the central mall. There is also a major hospital, across from the mall. A bit out of the way is the public library,
next to the large community sports field.
South of
the school, in a small wood lot, surrounded by farms in an old Shinto monastery.
Getting
there is a short bus ride plus a 5 minute walk, or about 25 minutes on foot.
The road to the monastery is very inconvenient, using the walking paths is much
faster.
